I have been working for Salvtech since early 2016, and am responsible for the majority of the marketing, as well as being the main contact and administrator for some of our key customers. During my time at Salvtech I undertook and completed an NVQ level 3 diploma in marketing, and consequently won the 2017 Flintshire business award for ‘Apprentice of the Year’. I try to keep the office as eco-friendly as possible and I am always looking for better alternatives to the single use plastic that is common in the workplace. When I’m not in the office I’m studying for a PhD in Ancient History.

I’ve been working at Salvtech since 2017. I manage the day to day running of the workshop at Salvtech, as well acting as the lead engineer on many of Salvtech’s projects. I’ve had over 9 years of hands-on experience in fabrication, welding and mechanical engineering, as well as over 6 years of experience in 3D design. I have a diploma in mechanical engineering and a City and Guilds accreditation in fabrication/welding. I like playing football for a local club and am a keen Everton supporter. During my time off I enjoy getting out to some local lakes for carp fishing.

I joined Salvtech in 2015 as a Design Engineer. Not surprisingly, much of my work involves designing machinery and layouts on 3-D CAD, though I also take responsibility for managing many of our projects and occasionally muck in on the shop floor. I graduated from Nottingham University in 2006 with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, initially working in bespoke machinery manufacturing, where I was involved with projects ranging from tyre production lines to pallet stacking units to chocolate deposition machines. Away from work my three kids keep me pretty busy (in a good way!), but I like to get out running, play football whenever I can, and love to bake – which is often well received back at the office!
