Improved LUX levels now meet required standards
A large waste facility, already an existing customer of Salvtech, approached the company aksing to provide them with new lighting for their waste hall. The customer’s existing lighting did not fulfil the required lux levels acceptable by CIBSE standards; the lights were also not entirely suitable for the dusty, hot environment of the waste hall, and had a high energy consumption rate. Ecoworld’s lights were able to bring the light levels up to the required levels, but also provided a 2 year payback, 5 year guarantees and large long term energy/cost savings. These lights were also designed for easy cleaning, as large accumulations of dust can accumulate on lights if they are not properly designed for their application and location.
Salvtech provided the customer with a dialux survey, taking into account the customer existing light fittings, and break down of the cost savings to made, before Ecoworld’s lights were installed.
